Acting & Photo/Video

Where do you put the camera? The Dare Cycle photo/video team learns how to frame their compositions by understanding the context of the scene, by answering questions specific to the narrative. This department provides reference materials for our storyboard artist (and animators, eventually), along with producing content for our marketing needs.

Currently, each member of the team is storyboarding their own “silent film” by pulling context clues from a sentence (not related to the film) as practice before being assigned their own scene from Dare Cycle to direct.

The students work primarily with our acting crew who focus on specific movements that show and don’t tell.
